Security Solutions Plus manufactures wireless Asset Protection Devices (APDs).  APDs incorporate any off-the-shelf wireless security transmitter and are used to protect computers, printers, smart room projectors - just about any asset that you need to protect from theft or vandalism!

What We Do

We have been manufacturing Asset Protection Devices since 1995 and they are currently being used in many Universities and Colleges.  The most common application is protecting smart room computer equipment - including the valuable LCD projector mounted in the ceiling of the classroom.  Unfortunately, many a LCD project has been stolen as the thief simply removes the projector and stashes it in a backpack.

With an APD installed on an asset, if the APD's physical hardwired sensor is removed or tampered with, the APD's wireless transmitter sends a signal to a local alarm panel and the notification process begins.  In most cases, just the deterrent alone prevents the thief from attempting to steal the asset.
